John S. Cavallaro, DDS

Dr. Cavallaro received his DDS degree from the New York University College of Dentistry (Valedictorian). Upon completion of his dental degree, he completed a general practice residency at the Manhattan Veterans Administration Medical Center in New York. Dr. Cavallaro completed a Prosthodontics residency at the New York University College of Dentistry and also completed an additional implant fellowship at NYU. Dr. Cavallaro has held numerous teaching positions including a current position at the NYU Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry. Dr. Cavallaro maintains a private practice limited to prosthodontics and implant dentistry in Brooklyn, NY.

Dr. Cavallaro has published over 2 dozen peer reviewed articles and has lectured at numerous national and international meetings.  Dr. Cavallaro serves on a number of professional committees and is a reviewer for the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants and the Journal of Implant and Advanced Clinical Dentistry.

Dr. Cavallaro is a 6th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and the holder of 28 local, regional, and national titles for forms and sparring competition.
